Our Story

Curve Conscious was a Best of Philly 2019 winner and was ranked one of the best thrift/consignment stores in the Delaware Valley by 6ABC Action News in 2020! Since closing our Philadelphia brick and mortar location in 2021, Curve Conscious has become an online only space for shopping and selling secondhand plus-size clothes for sizes 14 to 28+. You'll love it because we celebrate the diverse shapes and sizes of our customers while also promoting a more sustainable way to shop.

What we buy/sell

Curve Conscious offers trendy and stylish apparel, shoes and accessories for sizes 14 to 28+.  Because every item is hand selected, we're able to offer the best brands and styles in contemporary plus-size fashion at a fraction of the retail price! We purchase the items based on condition, trend, style and brand.

Here are some general rules about how we buy items:
1. Items should be gently used or never worn
2. Items should be clean and free of stains, cigarette smoke, pet hair and human hair
3. Items should be in season
4. Items should be on trend, in style, and purchased within the past 1-3 years

Anthropologie Plus, ASOS, Ashley Stewart, Avenue, Boohoo, City Chic, Eloquii, eShakti, Forever 21+, Lane Bryant, Loft Plus, Madewell, Mod Cloth, Pretty Little Thing, Rebdolls, Target brands, Torrid, Universal Standard and more! We also love indie designers and slow fashion brands.

Tops/blouses, denim jeans, casual dresses, party dresses, skirts, jumpsuits, rompers, dusters, leggings, casual pants/joggers, blazers, jackets, swimwear, shorts, sneakers, low heels, jewelry, handbags, lingerie and bras.

What we usually do not buy

Suits, capris, formal wear, wedding dresses, vintage or outdated clothes, worn and stained clothes, smelly items, or items full of pet hair.
